Get involved with the Archives.

Be part of the Archives' team by working alongside our staff and more than 20 million archival items.

Application deadline: February 25, 2020

“The Archives of American Art seeks candidates to assist with an African American collecting initiative funded by the Henry Luce Foundation. A $6,500 stipend, based on a full-time, ten-week schedule, is available for this internship. We encourage minority candidates to apply.

Interns will assist the Luce Initiative Archivist with processing new archival acquisitions that broaden and deepen the Archives’ resources for the study of African American art.

Archival collections are the personal papers—letters, unpublished writings, photographs, financial records, electronic records, and the like—of artists and others, as well as the records of arts organizations.”
